This project is in partnership with all stakeholders of the Agency including the Wenchi Municipal Assembly, Municipal Agric Office, Branam Chiefs among others. The farm which is being developed to empower the Youth of the Wenchi Municipality and its environs is structured in a manner that will eventually make the Youth in the area owners of the farms. Farmers will own 2 or 3 acres each on the 500 acre block, while the Agency supports with land preparation, planting and monitoring till harvesting and off-taking.

First part has started with 250 acres. The Youth (beneficiaries) will receive stipends throughout the period of farming till off-taking. The Chief Executive Officer of the Agency Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong and his team on Wednesday and Thursday inspected the land preparation and recruitment process which is currently ongoing. The next stage which will be the planting of the maize itself is set to begin on Monday, 29th July 2019. The CEO on his visit held a stakeholder meeting with the Wenchi Municipal Chief Executive Officer, Dr Afriyie and Municipal Office of Agriculture to brainstorm on ensuring the success of this project.
