The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has started disbursing funds to support industrial garment companies and small scale beneficiary applicants, shortlisted, for skills training and employment programme for the estimated Two Thousand (2000) Beneficiary trainees under the newly launched “Youth in Garment and Textile Module”
Representatives of about forty (40) industrial garment companies and small- scale beneficiary applicants received their cheques at the Agency’s head office this morning after signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Agency.
The disbursements would end middle of September 2023. Placement of trainees will also be within the same period and they would receive a monthly stipend of GHC 500.00 for the period of their training.
