Yesterday, I led a delegation of YEA management to pay a courtesy call on the Minister of Food and Agriculture, Hon. Bryan Acheampong to first congratulate him on his well deserved appointment and to secondly commend him on the launch of Phase II of the Planting for Food and Jobs initiative.
The meeting afforded both parties the opportunity to explore possible areas of collaboration, most importantly the need to create employment opportunities for the Ghanaian youth under the broader framework of the PFJ.
Our two institutions are committed to working to announce in the coming months a programme with the potential of creating over 200,000 direct and indirect jobs for the youth of our dear country Ghana under Phase II of the Planting For Food and Jobs.
Kindly watch this space for more in the coming months.
